John Heywood has had a remarkable working life.
A carpenter by trade, he went on to manage several major hotels in Brisbane,
including the iconic Breakfast Creek Hotel.
In December 2017, John celebrated his 80th birthday party at the Colmslie Hotel in Brisbane - one of the hotels he used to run.
